Learn and work from home as a proofreader or editor
The Publishing Qualifications Board
The Publishing Qualifications Board (PQB) is a charitable organisation, established more than 15 years ago. One of its key aims is to provide assessed, vocational training for anyone pursuing a publishing career.
It is a subsidiary of The Publishing Training Centre (PTC) - an organisation which promotes excellence in publishing through training. The PTC is best known for delivering high quality editorial and digital publishing skills training to publishers. In the past decade alone, it has trained more than 12,000 delegates.
The PQB offers a number of distance learning courses, all of which give you:
- the chance to work at your own pace
- your own experienced tutor to mark your work and answer queries
- the backing of the industry's recognised training body.
